Coastal Viewpoint I - Jan Rogers

Jan is an experienced pattern and design artist based in Lancashire, specializing in floral and abstract impressionist landscapes. Using acrylics and resin glaze she produces vibrant and soulful work in a distinctive style and form.

Since a very early age Jan was inspired by Kandinsky, in particular the vibrant colours and patterns that he used to create his artwork, she later discovered the works of William Morris and was inspired to follow a career within the world of art.

After graduating from art college Jan worked as a freelance surface pattern designer selling to a worldwide market of home furnishing manufacturers, more recently this has been combined with her pursuit of forging a career as a professional artist.

Inspired by her love of flowers and the colourful British countryside and coastal views Jan continuously grows and evolves as an artist.
