JJ Adams

JJ emigrated as a child from Plymouth in the UK to South Africa. Much of his youth was spent around the studio of South African contemporary artist Derric van Rensburg, where he discovered his love of bright color and graphic art. He uses different techniques to create his original and mixed media artwork. Acrylic paints are used for his pop art series and his digital media designs for his iconic tattoo and graffiti limited editions. The subjects of pieces are often based on popular culture, with the Queen with a full sleeve tattoo being one of his most sought after pieces. JJ Adams now resides in London.
